Tiger Striped Sky

Roo Panes is a singer and songwriter from Wimborne in Dorset who plays a twelve string guitar, releases through the independent CRC Music and first found listeners through his work with Burberry, which included recording for its Burberry Acoustic series, rather than through radio. Tiger Striped Sky came out in June 2014 as the lead single from his debut album Little Giant, which followed that autumn. It builds from a single strummed figure into a rolling chorus, and its lyric about two people choosing to see the world's colour together has made it a steady pick for couples who want a first dance with some lift. He has since released the albums Paperweights, Quiet Man and The Summer Isles.
