Anchor

Mindy Gledhill is a singer and songwriter from Eureka, California, who left Lumen Records after her 2004 debut and has released every album since on her own Blue Morph label, and whose biggest commercial success came in South Korea, which explains the blank looks her name draws in Britain. Anchor was the title track of her 2010 album, which a Korean label also released, and its single Crazy Love went to number one on the Bugs Music streaming chart there. Anchor is a gentle, unhurried song with a lyric that casts a partner as the thing keeping you steady, ideal for a first dance that is more sway than choreography. Stuart Brawley produced and engineered the album.
