Privacy policy

This website, FirstDanceSongs.co.uk, is operated by AMS Administration Ltd ("we", "us"). We are the data controller for any personal data collected through this site. This policy explains what we collect, why, and your rights under the UK General Data Protection Regulation and the Data Protection Act 2018.

What we collect

This site does not ask you to create an account and has no contact form. If you follow a link to a band's own website or to Artist Republic and make an enquiry there, the data you provide is handled under that site's privacy policy, which will also name AMS Administration Ltd as controller where the band is managed by us.

Our hosting provider keeps standard server logs, including your IP address, browser type, the pages you request and the time of each request. These logs are used only to keep the site secure and working, and are kept for no longer than is needed for that purpose.

Cookies and embedded video

This site sets no cookies of its own. Videos are hosted on YouTube and are loaded only when you press play. When you do, YouTube may set cookies and collect data about your viewing under Google's privacy policy. Until you press play, nothing is sent to YouTube.

Your rights

You have the right to ask what personal data we hold about you, to have it corrected or erased, to restrict or object to its processing, and to data portability. You also have the right to complain to the Information Commissioner's Office at ico.org.uk.
