About First Dance Songs

First Dance Songs is a guide to the songs couples choose for the first dance at their wedding. The Top 100 is the list we would hand to any couple who asked, and the genre lists go deeper for couples who already know the sound they want.

Each song has its own page with the official video, a short piece on where the song came from and why it works on a dance floor, and two wedding bands from the Artist Republic roster that offer live first dances. Where the song is already in a band's set, the page says so.

The lists are editorial. No artist, label or band pays to appear, and the order reflects what couples across the UK actually ask wedding bands and DJs to play.
