Thank God

Thank God is a duet between Kane Brown and his wife Katelyn, released in 2022 on his album Different Man, and it gave Katelyn, who had recorded pop as Katelyn Jae before their marriage, her first chart entry. It reached number one on US country radio in February 2023. Because both halves of a couple sing to each other, it has an obvious appeal for weddings, and the lyric treats finding each other as something to be grateful for rather than something earned. The pace is a soft mid tempo with a gentle acoustic strum. The video was filmed over two days in Oahu, Hawaii, and won Video of the Year at the 2023 CMT Music Awards.
