Snowman

Sia wrote this with Greg Kurstin for her 2017 album Everyday Is Christmas, a record made entirely of original festive songs, and it became an unexpected hit years later when a challenge to sing it in a single breath spread on TikTok in 2020, taking it to number eighteen in the UK. The lyric is a promise to stay with a snowman who cannot survive the sun, sung as a love song about devotion rather than weather, and couples pick it because it is tender without being a standard. The tempo is a gentle pop sway with a steady pulse. The video is a claymation short directed by Lior Molcho, and a second part followed in 2022.
