Shnei Meshugaim
Omer Adam, 2018
Shnei Meshugaim means Two Crazy People, and Omer Adam released it in 2018, when it became the biggest selling song in Israel, outselling even Netta's Eurovision winner Toy. Written by Stav Beger and Eliya Rosilio and produced by Beger, it is a love song about two people a little mad about each other, which is why couples who feel the same way gravitate to it. The tempo sits between a ballad and a dance track, so it rewards a first dance that begins with a slow hold and loosens into something playful. It went on to become the most streamed Hebrew song on Spotify, and the rights body ACUM later named it the most played song of 2019.
