Nothing
Bruno Major, 2019
Bruno Major is a Northampton born guitarist and singer who trained in jazz and worked as a session player before his own quiet songs found an audience online. Nothing was released as a single in 2019 and later included on his 2020 album To Let a Good Thing Die. He began it with Raelee Nikole in Laurel Canyon, played the unfinished song on tour, where it became a fan favourite, and completed it over dinner in North London. The lyric celebrates the small, unremarkable hours spent with the person you love, which is why couples pick it. The arrangement is little more than acoustic guitar, voice and a softly ticking drum machine.
