Love Someone

Lukas Graham, the Danish band fronted by Lukas Forchhammer, followed the global success of 7 Years with Love Someone in 2018, the lead single from their third album. Forchhammer wrote it for his partner Rillo, the mother of his daughter, and the lyric is about the vulnerability of loving someone so much that losing them is unthinkable. Couples choose it because it is unguarded and direct, and the mid tempo piano groove is easy to dance to without any planning. Forchhammer has said the song is partly about how two people can still be kind to each other straight after an argument, which makes it feel like a realistic vow rather than a fairy tale.
