Is This Love

Bob Marley and the Wailers released Is This Love in 1978 on the album Kaya, recorded in London after Marley had left Jamaica following an attempt on his life. The lyric is a direct and humble offer to share a home and a life, and the unhurried reggae rhythm lets a couple sway rather than step. It is chosen by couples who want a first dance that feels relaxed and sunny instead of formal. The video, filmed at the Keskidee Arts Centre in London, features a young Naomi Campbell, then seven years old, and the single reached number nine in Britain.
